Late last month, I met Mike & Morgan in downtown Denton, TX to shoot their engagement photos. In late March, the sun is just starting to thaw winter’s chill.
This evening in particular, the Northern winds kept whipping through Morgan’s golden hair, we’d have to pause, wait for it to stop or change locations.
It was chilly in the shade, goose bump cold, but she never complained.
We started at my friend’s amazing coffee house, West Oak Coffee Bar (thanks, Matt!) From there we took a walk and ended up at Oak St. Drafthouse.
One of the things I love about what I do is I get to meet and spend time with couples in love.
It’s always fun capturing new love, reminds me of when love was new for J and I… and my heart warms at the thought of going home.
This evening in particular, I had such an amazing time, and could have hung out with these two once we were done shooting.
Morgan has the greatest laugh (and does a lot of it;)… and Mike’s eyes light up when he sees her coming around the corner, as though it was for the first time. And I LOVE when I see that.
It’s a privilege to share their engagement photos and I look forward to capturing their wedding celebration this Fall at The Cotton Mill in McKinney.
Thanks, Mike and Morgan for a fantastic evening. You guys are terrific.
With gratitude,
Kate
