Kate is HANDS DOWN the best photographer in the DFW area. Her eye for detail and ability to instantly understand her clients is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Everyone always told me to think long and hard about your photographer because they are one of if not the most important vendor for your wedding. This statement is in fact true and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the work that Kate has done thus far for our wedding! I also noticed that when working with wedding vendors, responsiveness is key. I always told myself that if I ever got married, my budget & focus would be on the photography - because, after all, the flowers will die & you'll never ever wear that dress twice. The photos are all you will have left of the big day, so make them great! So that is exactly what I did. God found me the perfect man, then together, we found the perfect photographer to capture our story. We first saw her work when she photographed several of our friends' weddings. We both knew in our hearts that whenever it was our turn, she would be the one! We were not disappointed. We happened to get married on the same day Hurricane Harvey hit. As most people were evacuating the area & going towards higher ground, Kate again ventured across Texas (towards the storm) . Almost everything we had planned for was changed, yet Kate remained positive & went with the flow. Instead of feeling defeated by the day, she saw opportunity. We had a BLAST taking photos out in the wind/rain & we were so pleased with the results!
