Bobbi first contacted me in December of 2016 to make plans for her January 2019 wedding at Lost Mission. Over the last year and a half, I’ve celebrated with her when she said yes to the dress, when she and Bo purchased land to build their first home, and mourned the passing of her sweet Pebbles. Before I met her, I felt like I really knew her. So when we actually met last week, it was such a joy to hug her and see her face.
Bo and Bobbi have been together for 10 years, basically growing up together. They’ve been through high school, college, grad school and now the police academy. Bo is incredibly proud of Bobbi and still looks at her like their relationship is brand new. Bobbi couldn’t be more proud of Bo, who recently joined the San Antonio Police department. As you’ll see, he wanted to showcase what #backtheblue looked like for them. I loved this idea, because I feel like it not only was a great way to document their relationship, but for everyone else to see that officers are real people too!
We photographed their engagement session at Hamilton Pool Reserve as soon as it opened. You’d never know how crowded it was, because these two got lost in each other. And I couldn’t be happier with the results. Happy Engagement, Bobbi and Bo! I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year!
