Jessica’s Bridal Session | Milestone Mansion Aubrey, Dallas, Tx

Dear Jess,

After several months of being silent on my blog, I probably should start with sentences that increase my SEO, talk about your gorgeous bridal session at the Milestone Mansion and share about what I’ve been doing these past months. Maybe I’ll do that in another post… but this time, this post, is a letter to you.

I cannot believe we’ve been working together since 2017. I never told you this, but after I met you and Blake for coffee at Central Market, I took a selfie in the car of my full on excited face. I’ll text it to you after you read this. I planned to post it on social, telling everyone how excited I was to have met you guys… (but didn’t want to scare you off before you’d committed to work with me.) You see, I knew right away that you were my kind of people.

Right off the bat, you and Blake reminded me of J and I. (or, I think it’s J and me now, if I’m being grammatically correct, but I digress. 😉 Anyway, I adored how you two bantered back and forth, your sass… and I appreciated our mutual connection to the East Coast. (Although you let me get away with calling you Jersey Jess for FAR too long. I’m still not over that.)

I loved your big dreams for your wedding day and your desire to adventure for your engagement session. I could tell we both loved elegant, nice things… and I was totally mesmerized by your ring (well done, Blake.) But beyond the surface, and what matters to me most, I could see your heart so easily. I could tell you are a super intentional person, that you love deeply and when you commit to something, you are all in. Ride or die, your tribe is your tribe. Over these past months, you’ve genuinely made me laugh till I cried, but you are also vulnerable and ask honest questions. Real is so beautiful; I seek it out in life and business. I want to know and work with people who value people. People who are genuine, and try hard to bless and love others well. This is who you are.

So, while I’m shocked at how truly far behind I am in blogging, I’m so happy to finally share your beautiful bridal session. I loved everything about this overcast day at the Milestone Mansion, your Badgley Mishka shoes and Maggie Sottero ballgown… all your details… were perfect.

A million thank yous for letting me take this journey with you. I adore you so and am so grateful to now call you friend. I can’t wait to watch the next season of your life unfold… and look for many more ways that we can coerce Blake into taking more photos with us. 😉

With gratitude and love,

Kate
