Li Wedding | Chapel at Ana Villa, Dallas, TX

I write this post now in March, nearly 3 weeks after Cindy & Robbie began the biggest adventure of their lives:  becoming husband and wife.
Their wedding day began beautifully calm and quiet.  I left my home early, loaded up on prayer and headed out to the Chapel at Ana Villa with umbrellas, as the day called for rain.  Rain or shine, I was determined to get outdoor portraits of these beautiful people, whose love is pure, faithful and born from friendship.

Something that stood out right away about Cindy and Robbie:  not only are they incredibly joyful people, but they are so well loved.  I don’t ever think I’ve ever seen so many out of town guests at a wedding, all of whom vied for time to talk with the Bride & Groom.  They obliged, moving from table to table sharing laughter and hugging guests tightly.  The room was full of those most dear to them in all the world.

This was a day steeped in meaning.  Cindy was thoughtful in all of the details, hand crafting coloring books for children.  Her love for details showed up in everything from the colors, to songs and pictures.
And, oh, how graceful she was.
Her Groom, absolutely smitten.
Together, they are undeniably a perfect match.

Cindy and Robbie, it was a remarkable day.  Thank you for letting me celebrate with you!

My fantastic second shooter, Chua Lee, gave me this beautiful shot.
Another by Chua.
Cindy’s Father’s speech didn’t leave a dry eye in the house.
Cindy, without a doubt,
there’s never been a man that has loved a woman,
more than Robbie loves you.
Here’s to a lifetime of happiness and adventures.
Because, all the best adventures, still await.

With gratitude,

Kate
