Blogging is something I love doing.
I love showing my favorite highlights of a wedding. A portrait session. An engagement.
However, it often becomes the last thing on my to-do list, because Client galleries, products and personal life often leave time only for single images shown on Instagram or Facebook.
In recent months, I’ve stepped out of working full time in ministry, and stepped full time into telling of God’s love for us, through my lens.
It is a blessing and a tremendous gift, each and every time, I’m privileged to partner with Him in photographing love.

Carleigh came to me through Gateway Church, as many, many blessings have. When we first met, she was still praying and dreaming of the man who would win her heart. Her beautiful heart.
She is truly one of the kindest, gentlest, sweetest people I have ever met. Instantly, I felt compelled to join her in praying for her spouse. A rare gem like her deserved a happily ever after and a man who would treasure the gift she is.

Not long after, she met Scott. Right away, I knew something was different. She was different. She was falling in love.
They courted. Yep, the old-fashioned kind of way. They were intentional, seeking counsel and reading books like Kari Jobe’s book, The Right One, to make sure they were choosing wisely.
And I believe they did.

I was there for their proposal and bridals (yet more blog posts I haven’t done, sorry folks!), wedding and day after session (all of which I WILL blog shortly). I’m so honored and delighted to have been chosen. Here are a few highlights of their amazing evening wedding at The Piazza in the Village in January.
