Today is my birthday. I’m reflecting on another year, but more, all the people that God’s brought into my life this past year. Like The Crouch family. I first got to know their beautiful family last Fall, when I met Katherine to photograph her Bridals at Lost Mission in San Antonio (part 1 of her Bridals is here, part 2 is here), and instantly fell in love with these people. The first moment I met them, I felt like I’d always known them. Katherine reached for me and with a solid grasp, embraced me. Her mother, Jacqueline, did the same. And instantly they won over my heart.
Along Katherine and Brandon’s wedding journey, I met Elizabeth. Another equally stunning Crouch daughter, who was getting married in May. She was every bit as warm, beautiful and inviting. Her tall, poised frame, carries a royal elegance that was memorizing to photograph. These images were photographed in March, when I traveled to San Antonio again, this time to photograph her at The St. Anthony Hotel. Elizabeth was so amazing, we actually shot 3 sessions the same day: her Bridals, Boudoir and a fun poolside shoot that I’ll blog later. She is so relaxed and fun in front of the camera, that she recently modeled for me at The Milestone Mansion for a styled shoot. But more on that later. 😉
Today… it’s all about Elizabeth.

… and it was perfect.

I waited quietly for a minute.
Then I asked her to tell me what it meant to her to marry Kevin.
No words, just happy tears.
The rooftop has beautiful views and a fantastic deck space for dancing… especially in your wedding dress.

Elizabeth, you are a delight, joy, and beautiful soul.
I’m so grateful that you chose me to tell this part of your love story.
The one that began with you dressed in white.
Now, you and Kevin have forever to take more photographs and tell more stories.
