Conversations with my daughter.
“Mom, did I ever have a cake smash when I turned one?”
“No, honey. That wasn’t popular back when you were a little.”
She eyeballs the leftover cake from her birthday party and serves me a raised eyebrow.
My husband chimes in from the other room,
“rather fitting, she’s double ones now.”
I respond to the eyebrow, “why not?”
Out we go, 30 second set-up, no elegant props or formalities.
Just playfulness and fun.
My only guidance: “pretend you are little and trying cake for the first time.”
And away we went.
(Foolishness below)
What happens when sugar rush and a handful of chocolate cake meet your sister’s back.
FOOD FIGHT.
The only way to clean up – hose off. 🙂
With gratitude (and fun),
