I remember the day I met Katy.
She and her fiancé, Hank, had driven about 2.5 hours from Abilene to meet me at a Fort Worth Starbucks. I got there early that day, had never met her, but had seen pictures on Facebook.
My eyes kept darting to the door, wondering if I’d recognize her right away. When they arrived, they looked like a perfect pair.
But what struck me wasn’t how attractive they were, or the way he held the door for her… or pulled out her chair when they came to the table.
The old fashioned manners and politeness were charming. But it was her 1,000 watt smile – his genuine grin and politeness – that struck me.
It’s my job to pay attention to details, so when I spotted his “I am Second” bracelet, I had a feeling the 3 of us were going to be friends;).
That was my introduction to this amazing couple.
I thought I was going to photograph just their Engagement photos.
I was overwhelmed to be able to photograph their Engagement photos, Katy’s Bridals and their destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico.
As you’ll plainly see… Katy is stunning.
But what you might not know, is she’s more beautiful inside than out.
And that’s… a #truestory.
